Before the market opens, we need to prepare. Start least half an hour before the market opens.
First, look at the stocks with the biggest gap and biggest relative volume and see if they have significant news. You can use the trooper trading stock scanner, which is entirely free!

Secondly, prepare the charts for the stocks that you have listed. Draw lines where the price found support or resistance and based on those determine your entry and exit points.
Thirdly, and often forgotten or underestimated: become zen. Don’t drink too much coffee, don’t trade with share sizes that stress you out and make sure you cannot be disturbed.
